* * Please note that it is recommended to replace both the top and bottom Capstans at the same time, because of wear issues so that the RHGSE can work at its best performance. The shelf life of the material used to coat the Capstans, the Exit Roller, and the Encoder Roller in the MagSens head is limited to seven (7) years from the date of manufacture when stored in a climate-controlled environment: Temperature: 68° F to 77° F (20° C to 25° C) and Humidity: <80% RH. UV exposure should be eliminated with opaque packaging non plastic material, such as paper based packaging material.
